77% of workers use AI-powered products at work on a daily or sporadic basis, according to a Genesis Property poll of 1,175 respondents nationwide. Additionally, 70% of respondents are keen to learn new AI and automation system abilities, and 88% of respondents think their office should have more automation technologies to make their tasks easier.

The majority of workers (41.4%) believe AI should serve as a virtual mentor who can answer all of their queries, while 37.2% believe AI is a silent genius that can manage challenging tasks without the need for extra help. However, almost half of respondents think AI will continue to be utilized in 2025 to automate a variety of tasks, but it won’t take the place of people in these professions.

„It is already evident that artificial intelligence is being increasingly adopted in everyday life, especially in the professional sphere. Repetitive tasks can now be completed much faster, giving employees more time for interaction and creative activities with higher added value. […] The jobs of the future won’t be about doing more but about working smarter, more efficiently, and with greater creativity. Organizations that understand this transformation will not only adapt more quickly but will also foster an environment where people and AI evolve together,” Ionel Purice, CEO, Genesis Property, mentioned.

The majority of respondents (68%) think that communities can be formed around workstations with the aid of new AI-powered solutions. In terms of the steps businesses could take to facilitate this process, 52.2% of respondents say that workers require greater flexibility, 45.3% desire better workplace facilities, and 38.5% think that greater access to social and cultural events will benefit the community.

The survey, conducted by Genesis Property, analyzed employees’ expectations and requirements for 2025. It was carried out nationwide between January and February 2025 via the iVox platform, with a total sample of 1,175 internet users from Romania. Approximately 48% of participants are female, and nearly 57% have a net income exceeding 5,000 lei.
